Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase share losses lead Dow's 83-point fall

Shares of Microsoft and JPMorgan Chase are trading lower Monday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, -0.37% was most recently trading 83 points (0.3%) lower, as shares of Microsoft MSFT, -1.38% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.26% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Microsoft’s shares have dropped $4.27, or 1.8%, while those of JPMorgan Chase have fallen $2.70, or 1.7%, combining for an approximately 46-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Nike NKE, -1.57%, Chevron CVX, -1.39%, and Intel INTC, -1.22%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
