Dow's 300-point drop led by losses in JPMorgan Chase, Walgreens Boots stocks

Shares of JPMorgan Chase and Walgreens Boots are trading lower Tuesday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.80% and Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.83% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.63% was most recently trading 300 points (0.9%) lower. JPMorgan Chase’s shares have dropped $3.01 (1.9%) while those of Walgreens Boots have declined $0.86 (1.8%), combining for an approximately 25-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Travelers TRV, -1.35%, Honeywell International Inc. HON, -1.09%, and IBM IBM, -1.43%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
