Home Depot, Walgreens Boots share gains contribute to Dow's nearly 200-point climb

Buoyed by strong returns for shares of Home Depot and Walgreens Boots, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.42% is trading 197 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Home Depot HD, +1.84% and Walgreens Boots WBA, +1.35% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Home Depot’s shares have gained $6.27, or 1.9%, while those of Walgreens Boots are up $0.84 (1.8%), combining for a roughly 47-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing BA, +2.21%, Apple Inc. AAPL, +0.96%, and Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, +0.98%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
