Communications services companies fell as traders hedged their bets on the outlook for consolidation in the sector.

Canadian cable company Rogers Communications withdrew its court challenge of a boardroom makeover by Ed Rogers that has divided the board, pitted him against his family and jeopardized a $16 billion takeover from rival Shaw Communications.

Starting Friday, subscribers of Walt Disney’s Disney+ streaming service will be able to watch “Shang-Chi,” “Black Widow” and 11 other Marvel movies in IMAX formats, an unusual deal for IMAX Corp., which is more associated with cinema viewing.
