Madison Brengle finished the WTA season with a win, snaring her second Dow Tennis Classic championship Sunday at the Greater Midland Tennis Center.

Brengle, ranked No. 71 in the world, claimed the title with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Robin Anderson, who was making her second appearance in a Dow Tennis Classic final.

Brengle, from Delaware, took 96 minutes to beat Anderson and earn the 125 WTA ranking points.

Anderson, 28, reached the Dow Tennis Classic final in 2016, falling to Naomi Broady in an ITF tournament. Sunday’s final was Anderson’s first WTA tour championship match.

Brengle was the No. 1 seed in the tournament, while Anderson was unseeded.
