US higher premarket, Dow soars 500 pts

Major stock indexes in the United States traded higher in the premarket session on Tuesday, as Dow Jones soared over 500 points. Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard underlined that the US economy is expected to further expand this year, stressing that the country’s markets remain strong.

Stock markets all over the globe appeared to be on a steady incline, as discussions on interest rates continue, with central banks taking actions to lower the inflation levels.

The Dow Jones jumped 1.70% or 506 points at 4:13 am ET, while the S&P 500 gained 1.89% a minute later. The Nasdaq 100 skyrocketed 2.16% or 244 at 4:14 am ET. The euro traded 0.51% higher against the dollar, selling for 1.05638 at 4:15 am ET.
