Dow's 233-point climb led by gains for shares of Dow Inc., Boeing

Shares of Dow Inc. and Boeing are seeing positive momentum Tuesday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -1.07% and Boeing BA, -2.01% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, -0.43% was most recently trading 233 points (0.8%) higher. Dow Inc.’s shares have risen $1.67, or 3.3%, while those of Boeing have risen $4.33, or 2.9%, combining for a roughly 40-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Intel INTC, -3.47%, Nike NKE, -2.24%, and Honeywell International Inc. HON, +0.80%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
