CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Among the new members sworn into the US House Tuesday was Greg Landsman.
The Democrat from Mount Washington is the first new Congressman for Greater Cincinnati since in 2016.
He says he wants to work across the aisle on major issues like inflation and the economy and met with outgoing Republican Steve Chabot to make sure the office’s cases are transitioned.
“I want to do as you know, as well as I possibly can, and that, to me means being the most reliable, you know, regional leader for folks and somebody who is just always there helping to get things done and that this office is the community’s office this is their office not mine, it’s, you know, theirs to utilize to get things done,” Landsman said.
Landsman says he plans to spend as much time in Cincinnati as he can.
He plans to travel to Washington for votes, then come home.
