Home Depot, Nike share losses contribute to Dow's nearly 150-point drop

Shares of Home Depot and Nike are seeing declines Tuesday morning, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Home Depot and Nike have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow was most recently trading 142 points, or 0.4%, lower. Home Depot’s shares are off $6.14, or 1.9%, while those of Nike have fallen $1.94, or 1.5%, combining for a roughly 53-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Procter & Gamble Walmart and Verizon A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
