Gold Cup 2025 Odds, Schedule and Predictions for Group Stage and KO Bracket

The Gold Cup is Mexico’s tournament to lose.

El Tri captured the Concacaf Nations League crown earlier this year and enters the Gold Cup in solid form with three wins in the last four games.

Mexico has more attacking firepower than any team in the tournament with the Jimenez-Gimenez duo.

El Tri will cruise through Group A, and it would surprise no one if they run rampant into the championship match set for July 6 in Houston.

The path for each quarterfinalist will be determined after the group stage, but no matter where the USMNT land, you have to be concerned about its potential to compete with any of the continental powers.

Canada should be considered the clear No. 2 favorite in the tournament with Panama a close third.

A semifinal run might even be too much for the USMNT, especially with a major lack of experience up top. None of the forwards on the roster have more than 16 international appearances and four goals at this level.

Prediction: Mexico over Canada
