The blue-chip index fell 216 points, or 0.5%. The S&P 500 was still up 0.1%, while the Nasdaq Composite was on track for a record close with a 0.6% gain.

Tech was the day’s biggest winner, and that sector has less pull on the Dow than the other big indexes. On the flip side, the S&P’s healthcare sector was down 1.7%, while its industrials, and financials sectors were down 0.3%. All three sectors are big parts of the Dow.
