The First of its Kind “Investors and Innovation” Conference Convened More than a dozen bipartisan Members of Congress, 15 Embassies, and Business, Healthcare, and Higher Education Executives

The AllianceIndus Foundation, chaired by entrepreneur and philanthropist Ashok Bhatt, hosted the DCNY 2025 Investors and Innovation Leadership Summit at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., on September 18.

This star-studded event included more than a dozen Republican and Democratic Members of the United States Congress, ambassadors, and senior representatives of 15 embassies, and numerous business, healthcare, and higher education leaders. In total, approximately 350 attendees attended the day-long event, which included multiple panel discussions from 10 AM through 5 PM.

Panel Discussions included:

  • Global partnerships (with the Baratta Center for Global Business at Georgetown University)
  • Artificial Intelligence in Governance
  • Healthtech and Innovation with AI (with the Mayo Clinic)
  • Digital Assets and AI Investments
  • Presentations from Ambassadors Members of the United States Congress

“These are hot topics that are rarely presented with this level of expertise,” said attendee Girish Patel. “I learned a ton, and I will definitely be attending future DCNY Summits.”

One Congressional Chief of Staff commended the summit for its bipartisan presence:

“I see a lot of these conferences every year,” he said. “Very rarely do you get this many leaders together from both sides of the aisle. It really speaks to the public interest in these important policy issues, but also to the strength of the program organizers for their reach and influence.”

The primary event organizer, Chairman Ashok Bhatt, had the following to add:

“It is not easy to coordinate the schedules and logistics for this many dignitaries, federal elected officials, and high-profile business executives for one day on the Capitol Campus,” said AllianceIndus Chairman Ashok Bhatt. “I want to thank my staff for their tireless work in making this event a success. Now we need to come back even stronger next year.”
