Moldova joins the MiCA fold
Moldova’s Finance Minister, Andrian Gavrilita, confirmed that the country is working with regulators to develop a legal framework that would allow citizens to hold and trade cryptocurrencies safely. Speaking on state-owned TVR Moldova, Gavrilita said the government’s responsibility is to regulate digital assets rather than prohibit them, acknowledging that it is the right of citizens to hold these currencies.
