The sixteen carriages have driven away, but Beyoncé’s gold horse might be here to stay.

The singer, 43, added a mechanical gold horse to her Cowboy Carter Tour set during the emotional performance of her country ballad “16 CARRIAGES” at her Atlanta tour stop on Thursday, July 10.

In footage captured by concertgoers at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the 35-time Grammy winner performed the song while aboard the horse, which was suspended above the audience. “SHE LOVE US BAD!” one TikTok user captioned their video of the show-stopping moment.

“Oh we get a horse were spoiled. I am so excited for N3 and N4,” another Atlanta concertgoer wrote in the comment section.

Another fan also pointed out that Bey was paying tribute to her hometown of Houston with the intricately designed horse and its spike-like rims on the wheels, writing, “reppin’ houston with swangas on its sides.”

Beyoncé previously performed a similar move on the Renaissance Tour in 2023 with a silver horse, mirroring the album’s cover. The star also perches on a horse on the album cover for Cowboy Carter.

The scary moment was shared in a TikTok video on June 28, where Beyoncé was seen sitting on top of the red convertible as it began to slant at a sharp angle in the air. She appeared to be wearing a harness and was holding onto one of the cables attached to the car as it began to slant.

“Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” the singer then said into the microphone as the music cut out. The mom of three remained suspended in the air and looked down at the ground and up again, before smiling at the crowd as they cheered in the footage.

The moment in the concert setlist offers audiences a glimpse into the journey that the singer sings about in “16 CARRIAGES.” The song, which was a lead single from her 2024 Grammy-winning album Cowboy Carter, tells the story of Beyoncé’s adolescence in the spotlight, and its place in her family’s legacy.

Beyoncé will hit the stage at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium twice more, on Sunday, July 13, and Monday, July 14. The Cowboy Carter Tour will conclude on Saturday, July 26, in Las Vegas.
