Two countries that began the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup on the losing end look to grab some needed points on Friday, as Jamaica takes on Guadeloupe on Monday.

Guadeloupe might have found the back of the net in their first match. However, they were not able to keep the ball out of the net against Panama on Monday night, losing 5-2.

Jamaica has seemingly managed to be a team that has caused a stir in CONCACAF competition. The Caribbean nation has managed to make it to the semifinals in four of the last five editions of the Gold Cup, making it to the championship match in 2015 and 2017. However, they have never been able to make it over the hump.

Guadeloupe, the only non-FIFA member in the tournament, is looking to build off its ninth-place finish from two years ago.

Jamaica is 4-1-0 against Guadeloupe, including a 2-1 win in the 2021 Gold Cup.
