STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Robert DeFalco and Connie Profaci – two of Staten Island’s longstanding real estate brokers – have announced that their companies have merged.
“Throughout the years Connie and I and our agents have maintained a strong friendship and have worked very well together to serve the Staten Island community in a respectful way,” DeFalco noted in a blog post announcing the change, which went into effect on Dec. 1. “Connie and I are proud of our No. 1 reputation and successful careers. Real estate is a reputation business [and] our commitment to our customers is paramount.”
When reached by phone, Profaci added: “We have a boutique type office, which I believe will be a good combination with Robert DeFalco Realty. He covers Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey, which will satisfy the needs of both buyers and sellers. And both of our offices are known for personal attention and service. Together, I know we’ll make a really good team.”
Founded in 1987, Robert DeFalco Realty currently maintains offices in Dongan Hills and Princes Bay. His agency also has a presence in Colts Neck, N.J., Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Connie Profaci, who has worked in real estate for more than 35 years, has one office on New Dorp Lane.
According to DeFalco, the merger was discreet and both agencies are now linked and working together in a seamless manner.
“I’ve always looked up to Connie – we share the same values and integrity,” DeFalco noted. “After years of friendly competition, we are now on the same team.”
