The largest cryptocurrency stood at around $84,500 in recent trade, down about 23% this month, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

That month, crypto lender Celsius Network froze withdrawals before collapsing, and crypto Fund Three Arrows was ordered to liquidate.
Earlier Friday, it fell as low as $80,588.
Bitcoin has dropped steeply since hitting an all-time high above $126,000 on Oct. 6.
