Bulk deals: Mutual funds lap up Aptus Housing, Zinka Logistics sees churn; Ola Electric trades hands among auto majors
The following bulk deals took place on both exchanges, NSE and BSE, on June 3:
Mutual fund action in Aptus Value Housing
Aptus Value Housing Finance saw aggressive buying from marquee domestic and global institutions. SBI Mutual Fund (7.06 million shares), Axis Mutual Fund (2.5 million), Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore (2.99 million), and East Bridge Capital (4.2 million) bought shares at Rs 307 apiece. IRAGE Broking also accumulated over 9.3 million shares. However, the largest seller was WestBridge Crossover Fund, which offloaded a hefty 6.2 crore shares at Rs 307.54, signaling a partial exit.
Zinka Logistics sees reshuffle post listing
Zinka Logistics Solutions, which debuted recently, saw heavy churn with both new entrants and exits. Nomura India Stock Mother Fund, SBI MF, ICICI Prudential MF, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority cumulatively bought over 8 million shares, largely around the Rs 420 mark. On the flip side, early investors like Accel India, Accel Growth Fund, and Quickroutes International sold over 2 crore shares. Interestingly, PE firm Peak XV also exited a portion at a higher price of Rs 444.71.
Ola Electric: Hyundai and Kia pare stake, Citi enters
Ola Electric Mobility saw significant stake transfers. Hyundai Motor Company sold 10.88 crore shares at Rs 50.70, while Kia offloaded 2.71 crore at Rs 50.55. Citigroup Global Markets (Mauritius) stepped in as a large buyer, mopping up 8.6 crore shares at Rs 50.55. The activity suggests a realignment of strategic holdings ahead of the company’s likely IPO.
Vodafone Idea stake sale by Ericsson
Ericsson India offloaded a massive 63.4 crore shares of Vodafone Idea at Rs 6.76, indicating a significant strategic exit. The reasons for the sale remain unclear but come at a time when Vi is attempting to shore up funding.
Yes Bank, Nazara, MIC and others
Yes Bank witnessed block-level offloading by CA Basque Investments, selling 41 crore shares in two tranches at Rs 21.68 and Rs 21.61. Meanwhile, Nazara Technologies saw investor Ram Babu Gupta buying 4.75 lakh shares at Rs 1281.93. MIC Electronics’ stock came under pressure as Multitude Growth Funds exited 12.5 lakh shares at Rs 59.93.

Media Matrix
In a block trade, Arizona Globalservices Private Ltd bought 70 lakh shares of Media Matrix Worldwide from G R D Securities at Rs 14.39 apiece.
