Stocks slid in the final minutes of trading Wednesday as Wall Street braced for Nvidia’s blockbuster earnings report.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 245 points, or 0.6%. The S&P 500 fell 0.6%. The Nasdaq Composite closed down 0.5%. The Nasdaq was on track to rise for much of the afternoon before joining the other two indexes lower in the final half-hour of the session.
The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 4.48%. The 2-year yield was up to 3.99%.
