Stock futures were little changed Thursday after the Nasdaq and S&P 500 set record highs yesterday, while safe-haven gold’s ascent paused.

Futures associated with the tech-heavy Nasdaq and benchmark S&P 500 both were near flat in early trading after the indexes closed up a respective 1.1% and 0.6% Wednesday, while those affiliated with the Dow Jones Industrial Average were up less than 0.1% after the blue-chip index ended down by just one point yesterday.

Gold futures, which have soared about 54% this year and crossed the $4,000 threshold for the first time this week amid a flight to safety, pulled back 0.2% to $4,060.

The 10-year Treasury yield—which affects borrowing costs on all sorts of loans—ticked lower to 4.11% from Wednesday’s close at 4.13%. Bitcoin fell 1% to $122,200. The U.S. dollar index, which tracks the value of the greenback against a basket of foreign currencies, edged higher to 98.98. West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures fell 0.6% to $62.15 per barrel.

In corporate news, shares of Delta Air Lines (DAL) surged 5.5% in premarket trading after the carrier reported record third-quarter revenue and issued a rosy outlook for Q4, while PepsiCo (PEP) stock rose less than 1% after the soda and snacks giant’s Q3 results topped estimates and it replaced its CFO as Elliott Investment Management presses for change.

Elsewhere, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) shares, which soared 43% the first three sessions this week on news it was partnering with ChatGPT maker OpenAI on a massive chip deal, were up more than 1% further before the bell.

Also, Dell Technologies (DELL) stock, which jumped almost 13% over the past two days after raising its long-term outlook, pulled back less than 1%.

Nvidia (NVDA) shares were up a further 1.7% after rising 2.2% yesterday after CEO Jensen Huang told CNBC that “demand of computing has gone up substantially” in the past six months
