Markets opened higher, with the Dow up 200 points, as both the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields pulled back. Analysts have blamed rising yields and a stronger dollar for heaping pressure on stocks over the past few weeks.

The S&P 500 was up 34 points, or 0.6%, at 5,903.

The Nasdaq Composite had gained 155 points, or 0.8%, to 19,436.

The Dow was up 209 points, or 0.5%, at 42,604.
