That testimony, due to be delivered by outgoing Chair Jerome Powell, ‌has yet to be scheduled amid a Department of Justice probe into remarks Powell made during ‌the Senate leg of last summer’s congressional testimony. The ‌chair’s first testimony traditionally takes place between the Fed’s first and second ‌meetings of the year.
