  • SharpLink acquired 74,656 Ethereum in one week, worth $213 million at $2,852 per ETH.
  • It now holds 280,706 ETH, more than any other publicly listed company worldwide.
  • 99.7% of its ETH is staked, earning 415 ETH in rewards since launching the strategy.
  • “ETH Concentration” metric rose 23% to 2.46 ETH per 1,000 diluted shares since June.

SharpLink Gaming just made a bold move that has the crypto world talking.

The company now holds more Ethereum than any other corporate entity. After a massive purchase in early July, it staked nearly all of it to earn passive yield. While other firms are still figuring out their treasury strategies, SharpLink is already earning ETH.

SharpLink Adds Over 74,000 Ethereum in One Week

Between July 7 and July 13, SharpLink acquired 74,656 ETH, according to the company’s official blog update. The average price was around $2,852, putting the total value at roughly $213 million. This pushed SharpLink’s total Ethereum holdings to 280,706 ETH as of July 13.

The company funded the purchase by raising $413 million through its At-The-Market share issuance program. Nearly $257 million remains unallocated, which the company says may also be used to buy more ETH. These aggressive moves place SharpLink ahead of every other publicly traded firm in Ethereum ownership.

Nearly All ETH Now Staked for Rewards

SharpLink hasn’t just been holding ETH, it’s putting it to work. By July 11, the company had staked 99.7% of its Ethereum in yield protocols. Since it launched its Ethereum treasury strategy on June 2, it has earned a total of 415 ETH in staking rewards.

From July 7 to July 11 alone, staking activity brought in 94 ETH. This shows a clear shift in how corporate entities may begin treating crypto assets, not just as stores of value but as income-generating tools.

To help investors track its growing ETH exposure, SharpLink introduced a new metric called “ETH Concentration.” It calculates the number of ETH held per 1,000 diluted shares outstanding.

Since mid-June, that number has jumped from 2.00 to 2.46 ETH, marking a 23% increase. The company confirmed that this figure excludes certain adjustments, aiming to give a clearer view of its crypto strategy regarding its capital structure.

Investors Watch for More Ethereum Buys

SharpLink says it will continue updating the public with clear, detailed reports on treasury moves.

The remaining $257 million from its recent raise suggests more ETH buys may be on the horizon. If so, the company’s share of Ethereum and its staking rewards could grow even further.

With the ETH price hovering near $2,850, investors are paying close attention. For now, SharpLink stands alone at the top of the corporate Ethereum leaderboard.
