Technology stocks were leading the charge on Tuesday, but the broader market wasn’t looking too bad, either.
The S&P 500 was up just 0.4%, but about 300 members of the index were on track to close higher. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF, a proxy for market breadth, was up 0.3%.
The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.7% as tech stocks like Nvidia and Super Micro Computer picked up steam. The Dow, which is less influenced by large tech firms than its peer indexes, was up 70 points, or 0.2%.
