With SummerSlam 2026 set to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brock Lesnar could end his pro wrestling career in the same place where he made his mark as a legendary amateur wrestler.

According to F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE reportedly has working retirement tour plans for Lesnar, AJ Styles, and potentially Chris Jericho.

“There is a story going around that Lesnar will retire at SummerSlam 2026. I can’t confirm that date but did at least a month [ago] hear that the working plans for 2026 would be the WWE retirement runs for Lesnar, Styles and potentially Jericho if he signs.

“I didn’t get the impression it was locked in except for Styles, who has made it clear it will be in 2026 but not when. But the Lesnar name has been talked about, which is probably where the story came from,” Dave Meltzer wrote.

AJ Styles has already confirmed that he will retire in 2026. However, Chris Jericho is still signed to AEW. Despite that, he is rumored to return to WWE once his deal expires by the end of this year.

Brock Lesnar’s last appearance was at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, and The Beast Incarnate is being advertised for the 2026 Royal Rumble.

WWE President Nick Khan Says Brock Lesnar Is Easy To Work With

WWE faced a lot of criticism following Brock Lesnar’s return at SummerSlam 2025 due to his involvement in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon. However, WWE continues to feature him on its programming. The company’s president, Nick Khan, also had good things to say about Lesnar during his recent interview with Daniel Cormier.

“When he walks into a room, he looks and usually is the baddest dude on the planet,” Khan said. “That’s his personification. He is a gem to work with. Easy. As long as he sort of knows things in advance, there are no issues. We’re honored to have him back.” [H/T Fightful]
